The Telangana Association of South Africa (TASA) hosted grand Bathukamma celebrations in September 2019, inviting TANA President Jay Talluri as the chief guest. The event, attended by 1,500 Telugu people, included speeches by Jay Talluri and other dignitaries like the Indian High Commissioner. Talluri highlighted TANA’s service activities and encouraged expatriates to contribute to their homeland. 

On October 9, 2019, TANA held the 9th Gidugu Ramamurthy Telugu Language Award Ceremony in Vijayawada. Professor Garapati Uma Maheswara Rao from Hyderabad Central University was honored with the award. Andhra Pradesh Official Language Commission President, Acharya Yarlagadda Lakshmiprasad, praised TANA's remarkable efforts in preserving the Telugu language and culture. The event saw participation from dignitaries like Velcheru Narayana Rao and TANA President Jay Shankar, who highlighted TANA's contributions to promoting Telugu heritage. 

The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) organized a Cruise Trip on the Hudson River on September 8, 2019, to support handloom artisans in Telangana. About 450 participants enjoyed Manhattan's scenic beauty, along with entertainment like DJ music, games, and children’s activities. The event successfully raised funds to purchase 160 "Asu" machines for weavers in Pochampally. TANA leaders highlighted their efforts to empower handloom artisans and women. 

In August 2019, the Telugu Association of North America (TANA), in collaboration with the Tri-State Telugu Association, organized a tennis tournament in Chicago, which received an excellent response. TANA Foundation Trustee Hema Kanuru and Midwest Regional Representative Krishnamohan participated in the event and distributed prizes to the winners.
