During the COVID-19 pandemic, which created numerous uncertainties, the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) organized a conference call to address concerns related to immigration. The session covered topics such as employment authorizations, I 9 certifications, remote work options, university guidelines, travel restrictions, and more. Bhanu Babu Ilindra, an immigration attorney from the Libila Group, provided clarity and answered participants' questions during this event.
TANA Joint Treasurer Venkat Koganti provided crucial support during the COVID-19 crisis in both the U.S. and Andhra Pradesh. He distributed protective equipment to frontline workers in the U.S. and masks to gas workers, sanitation staff, and farmers in Krishna district. In Vijayawada, he organized a 10-day food drive, serving meals to over 10,000 people affected by the pandemic and lockdown.

The TANA Atlanta team organized a dinner to honor frontline workers and police personnel for their efforts in assisting and caring for COVID-19 patients. The event took place in Duluth, recognizing the dedication of these essential workers.

A special show aired on NTV featured Sheela Murthy from the firm, who provided detailed insights on immigration issues and answered various audience questions. TANA has previously worked with Murthy Law Firm to organize multiple immigration seminars.
The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) organized a COVID-19 webinar on March 24th to provide accurate information about the virus. Dr. Manasa Velagapudi, MD, from Nebraska, conducted the session, sharing insights and guidance on COVID 19 prevention and safety.
