TANA successfully organized a program on November 19th titled "The Epidemic of Anxiety in Today's High School Students," addressing issues like stress, mental struggles, and pressure among high school students. Dr. Mani Pavuluri engaged with parents, discussing topics like conflicts with children, competitive school life, peer pressure, bullying, and anxiety, providing guidance on how parents can support their children. The session also clarified many doubts parents had.
The Telugu Association of North America (TANA), always at the forefront of serving the Telugu community, launched another innovative service initiative. In collaboration with Global Doctors, TANA has introduced a telemedicine center to provide health consultations to people in remote areas, especially those speaking Telugu. This service aims to make expert medical advice accessible for various health issues.
The telemedicine platform features a panel of renowned doctors from the USA, UK, and India, covering areas such as Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and more. The service operates every Sunday morning from 9 AM to 11 AM (Eastern Standard Time) via Zoom calls, where doctors are available for consultations on critical care, neurology, sleep medicine, and more.
TANA President Anjayya Choudhari Lavu emphasized that this initiative would provide high-quality medical support to those in need, connecting them with prominent healthcare professionals.
The "Kavya Deepavali" celebrations were grandly organized under the auspices of the North America Telugu Association (TANA) on November 5th, Friday, through an online special event.
The chief guest, Garikipati Narasimha Rao, during his speech, highlighted the special respect and honor given to teachers, mothers, and women in our ancient literature and traditions. He emphasized the importance of learning to honor them appropriately.
TANA President Anjayya Chowdary Lavu, who participated as a special guest, began the event by explaining the extensive service initiatives being undertaken by TANA, providing the audience with detailed examples of the organization's work. The Deepavali event was celebrated with great enthusiasm.

A grand event was organized at the New York Times Center under the auspices of TANA, celebrated with great enthusiasm. The theme of the event was "Bangaru Bathukamma," and it witnessed significant participation from members and representatives of TANA from regions like New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others.
The event was a vibrant celebration with numerous Telugu families enthusiastically taking part, adorned with Bathukammas. TANA President Anjayya Chowdary Lavu also graced the occasion.
Under the leadership of TANA Mid-Atlantic Division, a backpack program was organized. School bags were distributed as part of the backpack initiative at the Larks Pantry in Downingtown. The organizers of Larks Pantry expressed their gratitude to TANA and the TANA Philadelphia youth volunteers.
Aparna Wagwala, Ravi Pottluri, and Gopi Wagwala were thanked by Sunil Koganti, the Mid-Atlantic TANA Regional Coordinator, for their contributions.
The TANA organized a hiking event in the Greater Atlanta area at Rolling Acres in Kennesaw, which was full of energy and enthusiasm. The event was coordinated by Rajesh Jampala, Murali Boddu, Anil Chankalvai (TANA Foundation Trustee), and Bharath Maddineni (Joint Treasurer), with the support of youth volunteers Tanisha Jampala, Monish Jampala, Rushil Narra, and Mohinesh Maddineni, who selected the hiking route.
The event, which included participants ranging from 6 to 65 years old, was well-coordinated by Venkat Misal.

On August 23, TANA, in collaboration with STEM Frites, organized a program called "TANA STEM Mission" for Telugu children aged 11 to 18 years in the USA. The program focused on providing training in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects to inspire young Telugu students to pursue careers in these fields.
The event aimed to encourage and motivate Telugu youth to continue their education and careers in STEM. The students and their parents expressed their gratitude to TANA members for organizing such a meaningful initiative for the future generation.
The Telugu Association of North America (TANA), under the leadership of TANA Literary Forum Coordinator Chigurumalla Srinivas and the TANA World Literary Forum, organized a grand event to celebrate Telugu Language Day on August 28-29. This event coincided with the Jayanti of Dr. Ramamurthy, a key figure in the Telugu language movement, and was aimed at promoting the richness of the Telugu language.
The event featured speeches by prominent leaders, including TANA President Anjayya Choudhary Lavu, who spoke about the contributions of Dr. Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, a pioneering figure in the Telugu linguistic and literary movement. Dr. Karanam Malleshwari and other literary figures were also honored for their contributions to the growth of Telugu literature.
A special tribute video was presented to acknowledge the efforts of Dr. Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy and various other literary figures who supported the global Telugu literary movement. The event served as a major platform for promoting Telugu language and culture on an international level.
